International Management · for Non-Business Graduates

 

In four semesters you will be trainded to become an executive with management functions by our Master programme International Management – the ideal preparation for your career:

  • Your knowledge in the important fundamentals of business administration will be expanded
  • Your soft skills, such as intercultural competence or communication will be developed
  • Your studies in International Management will be as practice-oriented as possible

The focus in the preparatory semester is on classical business administration content: Marketing Strategy and Planning, Service Operations & Organisation, Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Principles of Human Resource Management and Methods of Statistics.
This semester provides you with ideal preparation for the business content in the subsequent semesters of your Master programme. Here you can become acquainted with your later specialisations. After you have successfully completed the preparatory semester, you are well prepared for the subsequent four-semester Master's programme in International Management.

The first semester focuses on updating and expanding your technical expertise in subjects of "General Management":

Under the technical supervision of your lecturers you can choose four out of six possible areas of focus to define a first foundation stone of your personal expertise profile.

This semester is all about completing your studies by writing your Master Thesis as an independent scientific paper for solving a management task under expert supervision of professors and lecturers.
