Marketing Management

 

As a Master graduate in Marketing Management you are prepared to work in various management functions with the main focus on marketing management – an ideal start to your career:

  • You will extend your specialist know-how of distribution and marketing-relevant problems – with the main focus on international company management
  • Not only your soft skills, such as intercultrual competence or communication, but also your methodological abilities will be trained.
  • You will obtain skills of international market entrance and market development strategies as well as know-how in the fields of planning, implementation and control on the basis of practice-oriented concepts

• International Business Ethics
• International Corporate Governance
• International Economic Policy
• Advanced Research Methods
• Applied Statistics
• Language Course I

This semester expands your expertise in:
• International Negotiation Skills
• Leadership
• Language Course II

Under the technical supervision of your lecturers you can choose four out of six possible areas (elective courses) to define a first foundation stone of your personal expertise profile:
• International Organizational Behavior
• Advanced International Human Resources
• International Management Accounting & Control
• International Marketing
• International Financial Management
• International Financial Accounting

In the third semester you will gain knowledge of Strategic Service Management and expand your specialisation in Marketing:

• Global Brand Management
• International Consumer Behaviour
• Applied Marketing Research
• Current Issues in International Marketing
• Sales & Pricing

This semester is all about completing your studies by writing your Master Thesis as an independent scientific paper for solving a management task under expert supervision of professors and lecturers.

The courses are held in lecture and seminar format. There are about 30 students per class – this encourages dialogue between professors and students.
